Sophie Kinsella

CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?
With the same wicked humor, buoyant charm, and optimism that have made her Shopaholic novels beloved international bestsellers, Sophie Kinsella delivers her first stand alone novel and New York Times bestseller. Meet Emma Corrigan, a young woman with a huge heart, an irrepressible spirit, and a few little secrets.
That is until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger. But come Monday morning, Emma's office is abuzz about the arrival of Jack Harper, the company's elusive CEO. Suddenly Emma is face-to-face with the stranger from the plane, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her. Things couldn't possibly get worse—until they do.

THE UNDOMESTIC GODDESS

Workaholic attorney Samantha Sweeting has just done the unthinkable. She's made a mistake so huge, it'll wreck any chance of a partnership.
Going into utter meltdown, she walks out of her London office, gets on a train, and ends up in the middle of nowhere. Asking for directions at a big, beautiful house, she's mistaken for an interviewee and finds herself being offered a job as housekeeper. Her employers have no idea they've hired a lawyer—and Samantha has no idea how to work the oven. She can't sew on a button, bake a potato, or get the #@%# ironing board to open. How she takes a deep breath and begins to cope—and finds love—is a story as delicious as the bread she learns to bake.
But will her old life ever catch up with her? And if it does...will she want it back?

Confessions of a Shopaholic
Going Broke was never this much fun...
Becky Bloomwood has a fabulous flat in London's trendiest neighborhood, a troupe of glamorous socialite friends, and a closet brimming with the season's must-haves. The only trouble is that she can't actually afford it -- not any of it. Her job writing at Successful Savings not only bores her to tears, it doesn't pay much at all. And lately Becky's been chased by dismal letters from Visa and the Endwich Bank--letters with large red sums she can't bear to read--and they're getting harder to ignore. She tries cutting back; she even tries making more money. But none of her efforts succeeds. Becky's only consolation is to buy herself something...just a little something...
Finally a story arises that Becky actually cares about, and her front-page article catalyzes a chain of events that will transform her life--and the lives of those around her--forever.

Shopaholic takes Manhattan
In this sequel to "Confessions of A Shopaholic, the shopping-crazed Rebecca Bloomwood is back. She is carrying on a wonderful job in London, as a financial journalist. Becky tells everyone on the show how to take control of her finances, when to the contrary, she has NO CONTROL over her own!! When her boyfriend Luke wants to venture into New York, he invites Becky to possibly see about moving there with him. But when Becky gets there, with a $10,000 line of credit she newly acquired back home in London, her obsession with shopping takes full control of her. She spends all of her time in the shops in New York City, far overspending her limits.

Shopaholic Ties the Knot
Shopaholic Londoner Becky Bloomwood has moved to Manhattan where she is happily sharing a West Village apartment with her businessman boyfriend Luke. She also loves her new job as personal shopper at Barney's. Together with Luke, she returns to UK to attend her best friend Suzie's wedding but keeps quiet about her own dreams of one day getting married. In a surprise move, Luke proposes to her in front of all the wedding guests which number Becky's parents among them. Overjoyed at this unexpected development, Becky's mother speedily begins planning a backyard wedding accompanied by all the overblown finery her middle-class tastes can dream up of. Always a connoisseur of fine stuff and with her tastes particularly sharpened by time spent in New York city, Becky inwardly shudders at this but keeps silent so as not to hurt her mother's feelings. They return to New York where Luke's Manhattan socialite mother offers them an all-paid, much-in-demand glamorous wedding at the Plaza hotel. This is the sort of Cinderella-wedding that Becky had always hoped to have. So, despite her dislike of Luke's mom, Becky weakly accepts her offer. Now, unable to refuse either woman, Becky finds herself facing the prospect of having two weddings, on the same date, on different continents.

Shopaholic & Sister
Becky Bloomwood is married to Luke Brandon. After a ten month whirlwind honeymoon, they decide to head back home to England early and surprise family and friends. Becky ends up being the most surprised when she finds out her best friend Suze has a new close friend, and in her absense her parents have discovered Becky has a half sister, Jess. Growing up an only child, Becky is thrilled to discover she has a sister, and is determined to make up for lost time. Unfortunately, Jess doesn't feel the same way. Becky soon discovers how very different her and Jess are. Becky still has her shopping problem, and insists on helping Luke land new clients for his growing business. The wrong type of client lands Luke in hot water and creates a strain on their marriage.
